L4D2: Chapter 2

~Survivors' POV~

Throughout the Whispering Oaks amusement park, four people walked with weapons in their hands. They were and unlikely bunch; it was most likely not to form in a situation different from this. Three men and one woman, two white and two African American. One of the men spoke, breaking the silence.

"Hey, I ever tell you about the time when my buddy Keith-"

"Ellis, is now the best time?" One of the other man interrupted, an annoyed look on his face.

The man named Ellis frowned. "Okay…" The woman in the group pointed ahead of them towards a red door.

"Look guys, there's a safe room just over there!"

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's hustle!"

The four survivors started to run towards the door when the heard the all too familiar shrieks and roars of a horde.

"Aw damnit! Now?!"

"Shut your trap Nick and move!" The woman shouted as she ran towards the door. Nick groaned then ran for the door like the others were doing.

The screams were getting louder, and they started to hear many footsteps like a mob was coming straight for them.

They finally reached the door and slammed it shut, hearing the assuring sound of it locking them inside.

"We made it!"

"Hey guys, look!" The woman pointed to a figure on the ground, bleeding and battered. They rushed to the person's aid.
